There will be no individual award for Non-Fiction; instead the whole shortlist is being recognized as a BSFA Recommended Reading List. The shortlists for the awards are compiled from nominations submitted by members of the BSFA, and will then be voted on by BSFA members and by attending members of the convention.
The awards will be presented on Saturday 7th April 2004, during the British national science fiction convention, Contemplation. This convention was organized in just that past few weeks, as the original 2007 British National Convention was canceled.
