The International Horror Guild Awards

The International Horror Guild Awards are now in their twelfth year. Based on public recommendations, the juried awards recognize outstanding achievements in the field of Horror and Dark Fantasy. Nominations are derived from recommendations made by the public and the judges’ knowledge of the field. Edward Bryant, Stefan R. Dziemianowicz, Ann Kennedy, and Hank Wagner currently adjudicate. Paula Guran is the award administrator. The awards are overseen by a non-profit corporation, The Mirabundus Project, Inc.
Nominations and the Living Legend Award were announced June 8. The awards will be presented at 8:00 PM, November 2 in the Wedgewood Room of the Renaissance Hotel in Austin, Texas during the World Fantasy Convention. Artist JOHN PICACIO will be Master of Ceremonies for the event. CHELSEA QUINN YARBRO, this year’s Living Legend will be on hand to be honored as well.
